Our day began bright and early arriving at 4:30 am for the scheduled c-section and we are so blessed to say that everything went smoothly with the surgery and she is ablsolutely perfect! I have a few of her first photos in the smilebox so click on it to see how beautiful she is. The boys are so into her and could not get enough hugs, kisses, and cuddles with her. She came out crying and healthy, but had to spend 7 hours in the NICU because she had swallowed a bunch of fluid in her lungs as they were taking her out so they wanted to clear it up. It was a long day of waiting to hold her again, but she was fine. She is so sweet and content and like her mom already on schedule. She is nursing great and doing everything and more that they want her to do. 8 lbs sounds like a big baby, but she is so little with tiny little features. She stayed in a week later than the boys and outweighed either of her brothers- Shane was actually 2 lbs lighter than her, but she has to be able to hold her own with all these boys! She has a lot of dark hair, especially in the back and we are still trying to figure out who she looks like. We'll keep you updated and appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers!
