Christmas Kickoff

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we do a big "Christmas Kickoff" where the kids put on Christmas PJ's, we have Christmas music playing, read "The Shelf Elf" and name him, drink hot chocolate, and we all decorate the house/tree. The boys really got into it this year and we had a kids tree for them to hang their ornaments since they are getting a good collection.

At Granny Dulaney's that day for lunch, we joked about how Shelby needed a pink tree and when we ran into Target to get a few things, they had these 3 trees which were perfect for them each to have in their rooms for the season. They were very proud of them and they were only $10 so it was a cheap thrill!


Her room is still neutral, but mommy is working on getting it all pink for her 1st bday present, so it will match her tree next year!
